Can someone explain to me what a hoedown is? I just received an invitation in the mail to one..? - cowboy invitation sayings
I want to know what he expected before the adoption? Is that something you need for the dress. My wardrobe is mostly limited their boots and jeans.

A Hoe Down is a group dance from the country. Sometimes, locked in a barn or ballroom. If you're lucky, the little band with a violinist and a few "collectors".
In general, appropriate clothing and shoes are a must if you want to dance line. Expect good food and lots of it. An informal dinner often as burgers, sausages, baked beans and corn on the cob served. This varies.
I think you should go, especially if they have never been in one.
